ABOUT
Richard Valente
Founder, Valente Labs. Seattle, WA.
Five years at Amazon building agentic AI systems. The kind that do work on their own, not just answer questions. I worked on Alexa's AI infrastructure and built AI coding tools for internal engineering teams. Before that, two degrees at WPI and published ML research at IEEE BigData.
I left to do one thing: teach business operators to build the same class of systems for their own operations. Using modern AI development tools, a 10-person company can now run the same kind of automated workflows that Amazon runs at massive scale. The barrier isn't the technology. It's knowing which tools to use and how to set them up.
The people I work with leave with two things: systems that are already running, and the knowledge to build more themselves. No vendor lock-in. No black box. Everything belongs to them.
Mission
Most businesses know AI matters. Few have working systems to show for it. The tools change every week, and the hard part is knowing which to use and how to wire them into the way you already work.
That's what Valente Labs does. I build agentic systems on your real operations, automated reporting, always-on agents, decision tools, and leave your team able to extend them without me. Build with it, not just talk about it.
