This notice covers this website, its newsletter signup, and contact and booking paths. For an app, the course site, or another linked service, review that service's own privacy information before using it.

Information used to run the website

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. It processes technical request information, including your IP address, requested URL, and request headers, to deliver and protect the service. Downloads of published artifacts also use an identifier derived from your IP address and request and transfer counters to enforce download limits.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request the font files, which exposes connection information such as your IP address and browser headers to Google.

We have not enabled Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or the LinkedIn Insight Tag on this website. That does not prevent hosting, fonts, or embedded booking services from processing request information under their own policies.

Newsletter signups

When you submit the Notes from the Lab form, your browser sends the email address you entered and a label identifying this website as the signup source to our database hosted by Supabase. Supabase also receives the technical information needed to handle that request. The signup is for the newsletter described beside the form.

To unsubscribe or request removal of a signup, email rich@valentelabs.ai from the address you used. You can also ask what signup information we hold or request a correction.

Bookings and messages

The booking page loads Cal.com's scheduling code. Cal.com receives technical request information when that code loads, and information you enter in its booking flow, such as your name, email address, chosen time, and answers to booking questions. We use booking information to arrange and deliver the session. Supported referral links also pass a referral label and campaign parameters to Cal.com so the booking can be attributed to its source.

Paid sessions are separate from voluntary support for public tools. Review the booking service's payment and privacy information before entering payment details. The Support page does not currently accept tips or sponsorship payments.

If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments so we can respond. Our published contact address routes through Cloudflare Email Routing to HEY. Your own email provider also handles the message. Keep passwords, API keys, and sensitive client records out of newsletter, booking, and public feedback fields.

Retention and requests

There is no single published retention period for the records described above. Storage, backups, and technical logs depend on the service and its configuration. Download limit windows are not deletion deadlines. We do not promise immediate deletion from every provider's logs or backups.

Contact rich@valentelabs.ai to request access, correction, deletion, or newsletter removal. Describe the interaction and email address involved without sending identity documents or other sensitive material in the first message. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live and the processing involved.
